Keeping Holy the Sabbath Day ... and EVERY Day
How can my family keep Sunday holy? Second Vatican Council taught us that the family is "the Domestic Church," which means that the context of the family is where we first learn who God is and prayerfully seek his will for us. Visit www.usccb.org to read about "Tools for Building a Domestic Church."
Reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 3 to 4 pm and on Sundays from 10 to 11 am. Confessions are in the Reconciliation Room, behind the screen only.
Adoration is from 8 am to 3 pm every day. Monday - Saturday in the chapel, for a maximum of four people. Sunday in the church, for a maximum of ten people.
What about Mass? When circumstances prevent one from receiving Holy Communion, it is possible to make an Act of Spiritual Communion, which is a source of grace. Spiritual Communion is an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament. One idea is to watch Mass online as a family and make an Act of Spiritual Communion (see below).
How can my family keep every day holy? One idea is the Laudate app, which meets all your catholic needs, right at your fingertips. Another idea for kids and families is a daily podcast called Catholic Sprouts which uses short episodes to "plant one seed of faith each day." Listen to one; share your comments; and build up our online, faith formation community.

Jesus, we trust in You!
Spiritual Communion Prayer
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
